These Things They Say

I'm fine.
I won't be long now I've
Just left the house I'm
On my way I'm
In the bus and
Nearly there. I'm
Stuck in traffic and the
Road is blocked I
Feel so tired and
Am so stressed my
Boss is a jerk and
My kids are a pain I
Hate this place. I
Need a holiday I'll
Start eating healthy and
Get to the gym I'm
Starting a new hobby..
Poetry, maybe?

    Oh yes, I have been there. Great poem. The challenge is taking a lot of my time, which is frustrating because I keep postponing other things, but you just reminded me why this is an important thing to do.

    Thanks for your comment!! I understand what you mean, but I think, as with many things in life, the key is to find a good balance.. Otherwise we'll all end up miserable!! I try to make more time for hobbies, especially poetry as that is an area I still need to work on!

Shared on Poets United  following the prompt. -- Wrong Turn on a Holiday Walk Parakeets roam the beach Investigate the sandcastle we could never make. A breeze, in the warmth leads us to the ocean's edge. Here, some postcards, an ice cream box. We turn left. Here a hotel, and a pool with nobody in it.
